An annual event now 16 years strong this Christmas event kicks off the holiday season for many people. This year Monika Wall will be presenting songs from her ‘Handmaid of the Lord’ Christmas work as well as her powerful interpretation of ‘O Holy Night’. An evening not to be missed.

Monika Wall is heading out to Folk Alliance International next week and will be joined on guitar by Darwin Baker who is one of the infamous ‘Crooked Brothers’. Her performance in Acoustic Room #554 on Thursday night at 1:30am promises to be memorable. She will be performing songs from her upcoming album ‘Let It Flow'(currently being recorded with Juno award winning producer Murray Pulver). Included will be some crowd favourites – ‘Big Blue Waves’ performed with the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra and some brand new reveals. Darwin Baker is promoting his own new solo effort at FAI as well.
